Air Compressor Monitoring
Industrial air compressors and pneumatic systems provide power and assistance to many stations within a production facility. They are specced based on the amount of tooling and equipment they need to power. Shop air is available on the wall, from overhead, or directly to a specific machine or cell. Similar to hydraulics, it’s there to provide needed pressure. Without it properly functioning, operations can come to a halt. Compressed air is another behind-the-scenes necessity that can be monitored to ensure performance and maintenance intervals are met, and downtime is reduced or eliminated. The machine monitoring solution from Caddis Systems provides that important link.
Continuous real-time data is collected using a durable shopfloor device and fed via WIFI, cellular or ethernet to chosen mobile devices and computers. That information is presented in a user-friendly dashboard in common language to be used for decision-making for process optimization, machine maintenance and continuous improvement.

Caddis has multiple inputs allowing it to automatically detect machine status. Temperature monitoring allows the user to control process parameters or monitor machine health while analog input is user-configurable. All the data is streamed to the user dashboard for monitoring, and multiple digital outputs allow for visual/audible alarms to be fired. When a temperature threshold or machine downtime is detected, the user is immediately notified via text or email in addition to the analog alarms.
