Connect Google Gemini to your Caddis machine data. Once connected, you can ask Gemini about your shop floor in plain language and get answers grounded in your real equipment data.
Note: The consumer Gemini app (gemini.google.com) does not currently support adding your own custom MCP server — third-party connectors there are limited to Google's own partnerships. Custom MCP connections are available through Gemini Enterprise (Business/Enterprise accounts) or through Antigravity CLI (Google's terminal-based agent tool, the successor to Gemini CLI). Pick whichever matches how your organization uses Gemini.
This path is typically set up by a team admin.
https://api.lcm2m.com/mcpGemini Enterprise imports the server's tools as actions. Open the Caddis data store, select Actions → Reload custom actions to authenticate, then choose which actions to enable for your team.
When prompted, log in with your LCM2M account to authorize the connection.
If your team uses Google's terminal-based agent tool for technical work, you can connect Caddis there too.
Create or open .agents/mcp_config.json in your project and add:
Start Antigravity CLI and run /mcp to confirm the Caddis server appears with its tools listed.
The first time a Caddis tool is called, you'll be prompted to log in with your LCM2M account.
All data returned is read-only — Gemini can view your equipment, runs, telemetry, and alarms, but can't change anything in your Caddis account.
I don't see "Add MCP Server" in Gemini Enterprise settings. This option requires team admin permissions and a Business or Enterprise edition account.
No actions/tools appear after connecting. In Gemini Enterprise, use Actions → Reload custom actions to re-authenticate and refresh the tool list.
Antigravity CLI doesn't show the Caddis server under /mcp. Double-check the config file path (.agents/mcp_config.json) and that the field is serverUrl, not url.
I only have the free/consumer Gemini app. Custom MCP connectors aren't available there yet — use one of the tools above, or check back as Google expands support.
