Multi-Language Support
Caddis Systems translation support for different languages worldwide.
Introduction
The Caddis Systems dashboard and website offer language support of up to 70 languages worldwide using translation services built into both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge web browsers.
Supported Web Browsers:
- Google Chrome Version 117.0.5938.89 or greater (lower versions may be supported as well)
- Microsoft Edge Version 117.0.2045.36 or greater (lower versions may be supported as well)
Overview
Caddis System’s dashboard and website have been developed to allow users access to information from most devices with a web browser. Because of this universal device agnostic approach, the features built into widely adopted web browsers provides support for up to 70 languages worldwide using the built-in translation features within each browser.
Alternatives
There are two approaches available for diverse language support.
- Select a default language within the browser itself to always display a particular language.
- Translate a single page into a different language.
Your use case will depend on your organization’s structure and the language barriers within the users of Caddis Systems.
Instruction
This method works for both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
- Navigate to your Caddis Systems environment web interface
- Right click with your mouse anywhere within the web browser
- Click “Translate to English”
- An icon will become available in the top right corner of the browser address bar
Google Chrome Browser
- Click the icon, then click the 3 stacked dots (hamburger).
- Click “Choose another language”
- Select the preferred language
Microsoft Edge Browser
- Click the icon
- Select the preferred language from the drop down menu
Alternatively, adjusting the preferred language in the browser settings will load all web pages with translations available using the preferred language. To accomplish this, you’ll need to access the browser settings, navigate to language settings, and select the preferred language.
Browser settings are typically accessed through a hamburger menu in the top right corner of the browser window (appears to be 3 dots). From here, select “settings” and a menu will open where the user can navigate to the language settings.
